I don’t know about you but every time I believe in something I have to share it, talk about it and help or do whatever is in my power to make some noise and be helpful. I love this product, St Lucy Botanists candles, the Most Wondrous Candles, handcrafted in Barbados, in ridiculously small batches. So luxurious, so natural and some much Bajan!!
I will remain in love with Barbados, the Bajans, their culture and their way of living. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Barbados is my favorite Island in the Caribbean. Everything that comes out the Island is great and has a kind of Divine Aura. I remembered hurricane Ivan, category 5, coming straight to Barbados. The Hurricane literally stopped in front of the island, went to a category 1 and go around the Island, pass it and go back to category 5 to erase half of Grenada Island. There is a Barbadian say that I finally started to believe in at that time, “God is Bajan”. Cute no??
St Lucy Parish, on the North of the Island, is an amazing place, wild, rough, windy, beautiful with a particular light and so many different paysages: North Point, sugar cane fields and factories, Animal Flower Cave, Lighthouses, and Mount Gay…

ANACDOTE: Our happy Entrepreneur, beautiful mother of 2 has spent her career working in the liquor industry. Most recently She spent the last 8 years working for Remy Cointreau; the company that owns Mount Gay Rum. It was here that her passion for crafting luxury goods began, as well as her curiosity of a tiny island in the Caribbean Sea; Barbados! Last year her focus moved from flavour to fragrance where the same skill set of distillation and blending is used to craft wondrous fragrances from plants. Hence St. Lucy Botanists was born.
