Halloween week end in Castro, San Francisco….
In the early 80’s Castro became the heart of the gay community. Halloween event became known as the best Halloween party in all the US. Costumes are amazing, crazy, scary, funny, spectacular or no costume at all!! The craziness of the event where hundred of thousand people assist is a huge colorful melting pot, lost in music, beer and champagne until early in the morning.
Recovery Sunday, long walk….Palace of Fine Arts, the beach with view on the Golden Bridge and Alcatraz, downtown, direction the harbor, counting down the peer until reach the Ferry Building market place for lunch at Hog Island Oyster Co. Crab, Oysters and a Californian wine….
Cable car to go back, stop at Lombard street…..back to the airport, red eye to NY !! Love it!!!
