After 3 hours of an incredible, incredible as super nice, drive from Phoenix to Page, we arrived at the Amangiri resort, perfect harmony between Peace and Mountain. Located in in the heart of the Grand Circle, 25mn from Page, in Canyon Point, Southern Utah, the resort is completely melted in the landscape. As per the desire of the owner who wanted to respect as much as possible the beauty of the site, you barely can see it when outside horse riding, or from the 4 via Ferrata on site. Amazing suites, one of a kind spa and yoga sessions, the perfect place to rest and meditate. My room had a lap pool open on the desert, and an outside room just under billion of stars. Champagne under the shooting stars…

After 2 days in heaven, where my definition of luxury has been raised to a higher level, we drove to the South Rim to enjoy the beauty of the Grand Canyon, the pictures speak for themselves….From there drive south to Valle, then Flagstasff direction Sedona. That drive is like being Lightening Mc Queen in Cars, the different landscapes and colors are just beautiful. Closer you get to Sedona and everything is turning red.

We stayed at the Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa, great place. The room was spacious and cosy, it could have been also decorated by my Grand Mother, funny. I love my Grand Mother by the way, she will turn 99 this year :).  Spa and restaurant are very good, we did enjoy very much our short stay. Excellent location in the heart of Sedona and very close to the Thunder mountain trailhead, one of the many trails and recreation activities you will find in Sedona. Just behind the hotel we did a very nice 2 hours trek, and have been able to see the Chimney rock, Bell Rock, Capitol Butte.

Surrounded by massive red rocks, Sedona is a mystic place for many reasons. A melting pot of people from everywhere in the world who came for the Mystic power of the Vortex sites which enhance well being of your body and mind. It is the capital of alternative healers, the restorative, healing power of Mother Nature.

Unfortunately, a week end is only 2 days, ours was an extended one to 4 days, we need to go back to Phoenix, our plane is waiting….Go go go you will not regret it.
